Blur

Do you know how you zone out sometimes, and you feel as if you are in a different world, far away. Well, I tried to explain that feeling in this original poem....

Blur

The painting of reality smears,
As if the tears wash away the colors of the world

The faces before you are blank,
As you zone in and out of consciousness

Sounds, places, emotions are only a blur
As you live life looking through a smudged mirror

You feel as if you can stare into oblivion forever,
Never realizing how much time has truly passed

You never wish to be awoken from this peaceful serenity,
Free of insanity

But then you feel the greedy hands pulling you away,
And you are sucked back into the painting of reality

The reverie or daydream poem ("Blur") was nice. I wanted to comment on that, but this line wouldn't get out of my head.

It made me think about how I might not see the me that I want, but maybe all mirrors are blurry. What if there isn't anyone that sees the real them? That Dove commercial thing from youtube has been on the brain.

I have been studying the Pyramids of Egypt for years now,& as you may know that they used it as traveling with your consciousness. An almost forgotten art in its self. Some tomes at night I get such good dreams, That when I am awoken, I wish I never was, Wish I could stay there some times, And wounder if that is what death is like.
