There was once a wolf in a small college town. He spent his days inside of his mind, thinking of all sorts of things. He had a problem, and he knew it. But he didn't try to resolve it, because he thought it was a gift he could use to fight off predators of the world. He looked like a wolf, spoke like a wolf, and walked like a wolf. Deep inside he was a sheep, and he was scared of his future and what might happen to him.
He spent his time working, exercising, and meeting new people with mutual perceptions. That's all he wanted really; people like him. He knew he was alone, and that he was slipping. He needed assurance of his 'health' and 'normal mind'. People, theories, conspiracies, and radical events assured him, and he looked every where for them.
One day he found a lamb in a very small broken town. The lamb was pretty, new, and clear in her mind and perception. He liked this a lot, because not only did it give him assurance of his 'normal mind', but he wanted something to hold onto. Or maybe he wanted something to be in control of, because that was the one thing he didn't have in his life.
He swooned her with dreams, adrenaline, care, and sweet nothings. He promised her the world, and came up with ideas for their future one day. The lamb was in deep, and she wanted him more than anything. But her love for the wolf wasn't true; he had taken hold of her mind by telling her what she wanted to hear, and giving her what she thought she wanted. He didn't love her, he just wanted control. He would do anything to be in supreme reign of everything around him, even if it meant manipulating, controlling, seducing, and hurting a little lamb who is new to the world and it's people. He was willing to kill a lamb to get what he wanted.
The lamb did anything for him. She turned away from her family, friends, and her own self. She went against everything, and became his slave. She would have walked the earth 5 times around just to be with him. She wanted to be the one to lay beside him at night, wake up beside him, and be by him all day for the rest of their lives. She went against logic to have him....."A wolf isn't made to be with a lamb.." She ignored that fact and carried on with the last bit of strength she had.
Everyone tried to take the wolf away from the lamb. They succeeded most of the time, but the lamb crawled back to him each time with broken legs and a torn mind.
The wolf and the lamb talked a lot to each other, sharing ideas, experiences, and writhing in their emotions for each other. They laughed a lot with one another, and the lamb thought her world was complete, and that this creature was her savior, her eternal mate.
But she finally learned different when she discovered that this wolf was a predator, and her natural born enemy. She discovered she was easy prey, and that he had taken advantage of her species and her youth. She broke into a million pieces, and lost some of her love along the path.
She is now without the wolf, and she is semi-healed. She is no longer a lamb, but some sort of creature she isn't really sure of. The wolf is lost somewhere in the world, and doesn't know anything about the lamb and where she wondered off to. She has left him, because he tried to kill her.
Jasmine (darkyetsweet) told me once on chat about a painting she was going to create. The painting was going to have a wolf in men's clothes, and a little girl in red. I thought of that painting when I created this post, and I relate to it beyond belief. Thanks Jaz:)
