I think the hardest thing to be in this world is a nice, sensitive person. Lets say for example you like a song your friend wrote. If they are confident about their work, they will accept your compliment happily. One the other hand, if they are insecure about it, they probably won't believe what you are saying and lose trust in you.

So for a nice person who gets a kick out of making other people feel good, it's a losing situation. People think you are trying to get money from them or are hitting on them or are making fun of them, when all you are doing is trying to tell them you like something about them.

Just cuz I like your art or your blog or your hair doesn't mean I want to date you. It doesn't mean I am looking for a favor. I just like your art or your blog or your hair. It hurts when you find something you like about someone and express that only to get shot down. Maybe that why more people keep to themselves and would rather walk on somebody then pick them up out of the mud.

I'm sick of being walked on, and sick I am of being despised for trying to find some beauty in this dark world.
