VIP experience part 1
It was May 21st and i was waiting outside of the Fillmore looking at the sign that said "Korn May 21st."
This was my second concert here in the states. the first concert i have been to was to see System of A Down and Deftones opened and i loved that concert but, this was the first concert where i had the chance to meet the band. this was not any band. THIS..... WAS....... K..O...R...N.
This band is one of the pioneers of the "nu-metal movement:" i'm not very good with genres. but i can tell you that Korn's sound makes you want to jump, scream and pick up an instrument and jam,
i waited anxiously with my ticket and ID in my pocket and had my rolled up drawing of the tour poster that i sketched with quill and ink during my finals. it took me about 20 hours to finish but that's because i'm not really good at drawing.
the door opened then i stepped in line. They scanned my ticket, carded me and gave me a poster and a copy of a setlist. i immediately went to the bar, ordered a coke and saved a spot on the rail right on Fieldy and Head's side. more waiting and then someone comes through the doors and its Ray Luzier.
more to come and thanks for the coments.
