Counter View on "Saying Goodbye"
I keep reading about the people who have become disenchanted with this website. I agree that it is not what it use to be but there is a wonderful and truly unique crowd that visits here.
At one time I too was a frequent visitor to the chat room until it got a little out of hand. At the time it appeared that many people decided to use the chat room for personal vendettas against other chat fans. I just made the easy decision to not enter the chat room. No big deal.
I check out the blogs and forums daily...hell, more than a few times a day actually. I enjoy reading the ideas, wonderings and emotions of every person that posts a blog. Even laugh my ass off at the jokes that are posted.
I thank all the people who have added me as their friend as we will always have something in this life in common. I truly hope they don't get pissed 'cause I don't bombard their in-box with message after message or bug the shit outta them for not chatting with me. Sorry, it's not who I am.
I just want everyone to know that I'll check in daily to see what is happening throughout the world.
I suppose my expectations are just not as high as others! "Friend" me if you want, I'm easy...AND cheap...but know that I won't become disgruntled if you don't.
Anyway, thanks everyone and keep posting for those of us that like a great place to just "hang out".

I totally get what you are saying about site activity .. but this place is designed for Korn fans to 'meet & greet' themselves .. it's for fans to hook up and share .. it's not a platform to hook up with the band and speak directly to them.
So .. I guess it's a case of you expecting too much?
You are right .. the latest updates on Korn never seem to surface here, which IS strange! But surely that's gotta be addressed with the moderators - who control what is posted. I feel ya, I really do! But I just don't see how this is going to change?
Unless .. You become a moderator and post the info that is lacking?
Tell them directly via the forum mod/site feedback area and offer to do that?

Second, and judging by the other responses, I don't appear to be alone in my thinking. My reply simply states my own experience and feeling about Korn.com. Just because I used your blog heading does NOT mean it is a personal attack on you. Actually it is in response to ALL the blogs that have also mentioned the same points you made.
Finally, and I have searched through all the legalize on this site, I see nothing that reads this site was created by members of Korn OR that they should even spend time here. They come as a courtesy to its members. Grant that it WOULD be great if they frequented the site more often but I have no doubt that if they were to dedicate more time to every site were they have fans we would be without the one thing that brought us together in the first place...THE MUSIC! Personally, I'd much rather they spend their time in the studio doing what they do best.
