Korn is awesome, just not the kind on your feet.
So, I haven't mentioned this, but the past two summers, I've had a total of 3 surgeries on my feet. Here's why... I was born with crooked toe bones. Well, there's a horrible habit I've had since I could walk that made it ten times worse. I have ALWAYS walked on my toes and I'm now 16. I've been working on that... Anyways, I have this amazing, very experienced podiatrist that I go to. In 2012, during my summer break, I had a bunionectomy on my right foot. He cut open my foot, sliced off the bone growth, and put in a dissoluble pin type thing for the bone to stay there as it heals. Later that year (When I was still in that dreadful high school band) I marched at a football game at a college during half time and got a stress fracture in the foot. Yay, right? Yeah, well I wore a boot practically half a year in 2012. Last summer, during yet another summer break, I had to get my left root operated on. This time, He had to do two surgeries, both on my left foot. He cut on both sides on my foot to cut off a growth on each side of that foot. technology advances pretty dang quickly, so this time he put screws in both my big toe and pinky toe bones down in my foot. They're not supposed to go off in airports or anything like that.
So, next month will be a year since my last surgeries. Am I better? Hah, that'd be too fortunate. I had to go to my podiatrist last Thursday because I had wort type growths on my feet. One was fairly big on the side of my right big toe, another was on the interior of my second toe on the left, and finally, a large painful growth (A corn) is on my right pinky toe. What he did was slice them out with a sharp scalpel (No deadening, just went straight into these painful places). They bled of course, and then they put acid inside of them. I'll just say it didn't feel awesome. I then got some more lovely news.
Turns out one of these places he hasn't even seen before, and he called it "interesting". I hate to dwell on it, but this doctor has seen a lot and has worked on feet for a long, long while. For him not to have seen it isn't very settling. I have to go back this Thursday to make sure it's not cancerous. Heh... Yeah, also I have developed hammer toe in both of my pinkies. It sucks. I could always get more surgeries to fix them...I chose not to. He told me last year I'll develop hammer toe later in life, but I didn't at all expect it to be when I was 16. All I can wear are adjustable, foam, sports-like sandles. Nothing else. Hopefully, when I go back Thursday, it won't be anything serious. SO far, my luck hasn't been great, though. My feet have been killing me and the past two nights, I've have a TOTAL of 5 hours of sleep. I'm out of it. So, here's my update and I'm sorry I haven't posted for a few days. i still love you guys and I hope all of you are doing well.
