A Korny little story
While playing Solitaire, I remembered something from when I was a junior in high school...
In the middle of November 2010, I had gotten my first Korn CD. It was their 2007 Untitled album. I loved that album so much. I had the CD case cover turned to the page where Jonathan Davis was sitting in this chair with these creepy things around him. I showed it to my best friend in study hall, and as usual he jokingly teased me for liking Korn and JD. One morning I had brought the CD to school to listen to it before school started on the computers in the library. Once it was time to get ready to go to class, I didn't know where to put it so it wouldn't break. I stuck it in my right pocket of my favorite hoodie. I seemed to like the CD in my pocket a lot, so I brought it to school with me every day like a stuffed animal. Along with doing such a thing, as kids are, they started teasing me for having this CD case in my pocket all of the time. My English class was the worst. They constantly made fun of me for having a Korn CD in my hoodie pocket everyday. Eventually half of the school was asking me why I was carrying this CD case with me. I never really had an answer, I just answered "just because" because I was too shy to really stand up for myself when everyone around me was laughing and saying mean things. Things really didn't improve as the new semester arose with a tragic event that occurred on the first day of second semester. From November to about early April I carried this special CD case with me in my hoodie pocket. It was like some kind of protection for me or something. I still have yet to explain my actions and why I held on to that CD case like dear life. It is still special to me, I keep it at my apartment in a special place where I can see it everyday. Also during that time period, I had gotten a chance to see Korn for the first time (and hopefully not the last time either) live in concert. It was amazing.
My junior year was quite interesting. I had went through a lot mentally and still survived.
