Korn

So i guess really all this started when i was 13...long drawn out story short i was going through a rough spot in my life and found a band that literally gave me the balls to pull myself away from it.."Korn"..I really found them in the oddest way too,my dad like usual had been physically/mentally abusing me..like i always did i ran to the cemetery where my grandmother was buried in..It was my sanctuary..While she was alive she was pretty much my rock that one majorly positive thing you gather inspiration/courage/hope etc etc..My home life was far from stable..but she was one person i could always count on to have my back and love me despite my so called flaws..Anyways..on the way to the cemetery a car drove by,and something flew out of the window..i got curious went over to look at what it was..It was a cd.."Korn" I took it home stuck it in the cd player,instantly hooked i turned it as loud as it would go!"Reclaim My Place" stuck pretty hard with me..I think its probably the one song that just woke something up inside me and instead of taking the kicks i started kicking back..
