Thanks guys! It has been tough, but it honestly is music that has helped me through really! From all the concerts and festivals I've experienced I've noticed that rockers, metalheads etc. are generally nicer than the people I come across everyday, and societies a bitch to us! They've inspired me to look past trying to fit in, judging others, to just being myself and I thank all the rock/metal/alternative family for helping me believe in myself.
You should always just be yourself. I know its easier said than done because I haven't always been able to be myself. I'm very happy for you though its a big bold move. I discovered myself when I started fully listening to Korn believe it or not. College and life outside of high school really lets you become your true self. Congratulations Dear!
It is always good to be yourself and someone people may give the cold shoulder, that just means that they are afraid to let their inner selfs out,so they have to pick on the people who are not afraid to let their selves shine out into the world. Jealus can be a dangerus tool.
