Today my friend was beaten
Tomorrow she will be beaten
Everyday,
Every night
'Till she cries out of sight
She will be beaten until she dies

She will scream
She will cry
She will run out of sight
'Till the day she dies

I love her
Always have,
Always will
I tried to help her
I tried 'till we both got ill
But it didn't help
And sadly,
Never will

And then came the time
When her hand was in mine
While she whispered out her last and final word
"Goodbye"
