My KoRn Discovery story
I've always liked KoRn, (becouse my parents occasionally listen to them) but i never really knew who they were. like a person who you've heard their name, but you can't really bring up a face for it. well, my discovery of KoRn started with The Queen Of The Damned (for those of you who don't know, it's a movie that Jonathan did music for) I LOVED IT!!! it helped that i was into vampires at the time too (blame twilight) another thing that contributed to this A HELL OF A LOTT was MindFreak, a show by Criss Angel. i was browsing netflix when i saw it, and checked it out becouse i heard some of my friends talking about it. right off the bat, the First thing that got me was the opening theme song. (i thought it was hard-core at the time) i remember i was all like AAAH! and i turned it down lol XD. (Btw, it was unknown to me at the time, but jonathan helped make the song 'mindfreak')
anyways, i got used to it, and it helped expose me to 'heavier' music. another thing was that, in one of criss's stunts (which involved him hanging by FISH HOOKS from a HELICOPTER 100's of feet off the ground!!!) criss was listening to 'alone i break' on his ipod, and they used it on the show. also, on crissangel.com (also on youtube) there's an interview of JD by criss, youll have to watch it, i learned alot from it, about JD's family, the new dub steppy stuff, where song 'clown' came from, J Devil, and jonny's infatuation with fancy cars. this got me looking at other Korn interviews, (i think i've watched all of them lol) and o stumbled across stuff from 'deuce' like KoRn who then now, and diffrent gag reels. And Then, theres also Guitar hero to thank, for putting Freak on a leash on the world tour game. and my daddy and mother, for having an old 'follow the leader' album, then i found the 'greatest hit's volume 1' album, and a 'see you on the other side' album, then i found a 'family values' dvd in the dvd cabinet. last but not least, my friend Kat helped me the most, becouse she likes all the things i do, like pirates of the caribean, nightmare before christmas, KoRn, mindfreak, ex ex. So, all these things combined, I LOVE KORN!!
What about you guys?
what's your KoRn discovery story?

That's a great story Blakely! I've been a fan since I heard about them in the summer of 1994 before they released the Korn self-titled album. I heard about them from another hometown Bako band called Cradle of Thorns. Look them up...they were a great band!
