Another Day
So my parents keep trying to dominate my life. The most recent thing is what i wear, which really pisses me off cus they get rid of all but one of my t shirts. Aside from that the one im most worried about is me schedule for my classes next year. I have so far:
1) Ap literature and compostiton
2) Ap calculus
3) Ap world history
4) Advanced physics
5) computer programming
6) intro to and applied metals
7) health, and 3D solid modeling
The only ones im worried about are AP calc and AP lit and comp. AP calc i want to take because i want to be an engineer, but AP literature and composition... i suck at literature and english... Ive never taken an honors english class and this year everyone who hasnt taken and honors english class before has dropped out. And everyone but one kid who was taking AP calc and AP lit and comp have dropped out of one of the classes. I dont want to fuck up my 3.7 gpa cus my parents are so fucking controlling. I tried talking to my high school counselor and all she said to do was talk to my parents. WTF does she think ive been doing?! Obviously it hasnt done shit. So im going to be grounded all next year from bad grades and im not going to be able to get into Rolla. Thanks mom and dad.

It'll be over soon.... parents are controlling for a reason... most of the time you won't figure out why until you're older...and then you'll do the same thing to your kids.
It not their job to be your friend. It is their job to be a parent. Trust me, it's not that easy on the parents side either. But at least you can grow up and move out.
We all have to deal with lots of the same rules when we get a job... can't wear shirts that say anything. no tanks, no shorts blah blah blah... some things aren't going to change.
