I Broke my Hour Glass.

I'll start this one off with an apology. I've been so absorbed in my school work! I guess it's only expected when you're trying to be an honor graduate and decided to take a college credit class your sophomore year. Anyways, there's my excuse for not posting much. I'm not sure if many take the time to read these, but thanks to those who do. Even with all this school work, I've still had my Korn with me at all times. I feel pretty awesome wearing my new red jacket with white stripes down the arms, which looks just like one JD wore before. Does it go with my nerd glasses? Do my new black, spiked wristband and neon punk bracelet go with my good girl "ego" and nerdiness? Of course not. But I decided that this will be my topic today. Stereotypes and judgments.

For those who are new to reading this, I guess I'd say my goal is to find myself and my voice all the while assisting others in doing the same, by discussing different topics everyday (That I can...) that, really, apply to a larger majority of people than we may think. To let them know they're not alone and possibly, one day, know I have helped or inspired someone else in some way.

Anyways, stereotypes and judgements. Man, that's something I deeply despise. Everything is not black and white. I find it absolutely appalling how we try to categorize every person into one, isolated component. Now, I'm definitely not one to nonchalantly cross borders or leave a comfort zone, for sure. However, I don't believe you have to be limited when it comes to who you are. High school...Heh, there's a great example to use, regardless of how cliche it may be. It's also a familiar one. You have "jocks", "nerds", and "freaks"...etcetera. Well you know those people who don't really apply to one of those names? That should be everyone.

I guess I'm just a huge contradiction in general based on the human race's system of organization...
