I just joined the KoRn world two weeks ago. I am loving all of it and finding catharsis in a way that I never realized was possible. I'm also 38 years old. I'm seriously late to the game. But I can completely understand any age person needing KoRn in their life.

Fuck age. I am 37. Still look like I am in my late 20's and early 30's. No kids tho. It is all about how you feel and take care of yourself mentally/physically.
Actually listening to KoRn makes me feel even younger as most guys my age are not listening to KoRn or metal in general. Plus it got me into playing 7 string which as a musician took my skills and song writing for my band to the new places.

Age is two-fold. There's the physical part (Damn, some days I feel it) then there's the "mental" part. Age wise I have you all beat but that doesn't stop me from hitting the concert venues and feeling like I'm 20 again. Still stand in the middle of the young folks and enjoy the hell out of myself. Ain't gonna change it either.
Nah, just cuz you're mind (mental) tells you that the sound is still good doesn't make ya old...far from it...kinda makes you a "connoisseur" of what good music is.
If your son invites you to the concert then obviously he has no qualms about being around you at a venue like that...an admirable quality if you ask me.
Don't sweat the little things...enjoy the music!!!

Im 17 and i would love if my parents liked Korn, along with other bands which i like. Im slowly trying to get my mum into them though ;) aha. I'd love to go to a concert with her, i've never been to a concert because i live out in the countryside and the thought of travelling all the way to London by myself, or with friends then going to a concert is pretty imitimidating. I know if i went with my mum though i'd be safe, and have a great time cos shes awesome. :D I've only been listening to korn for about a year, I would of loved to have grown up listening to them with my parents. So i'd say your son is very lucky. (:

dont ever grow up, if music and korn is what you like. stick with it. being on the older side of this i see your point, but what you do is still up to you. i say keep it loud, keep it korn, party on.

I'm 40. I have a 20 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. If people think I'm too old to love my favorite band, they can bite it!
