KoRn Neidermayer's Mind Demo Tapes
In 1993 KoRn released their demo tape titled "Neidermayer's Mind". There are several variations of this tape as you will see below. Some were sold at shows, some were sent to music companies, and some were sent out to venues to promote the band. Rumored production numbers put this tape at 1,000 copies or less. The tracklisting is Pradictable (Spelt different from the 1994 Self Titled Release), Blind, Daddy, and Alive.
The demos without labels I asked a close friend of the band about and he told me the following...."The band was short on cash to keep producing copies of the tape so they tried to save money by taking the extra inserts and just making copies of it on tapes without lables. The demo with the cheap white label was used when they ran out of the original label."
Here is a quote taken from the October 1993 issue of Meanstreet Magazine..."When they first brought the four-song demo to a cassette duplication company in hopes of making more to sell at shows. The company refused the job based on the lyrics of the song, "Daddy".
Tracklist
1. Pradictable
2. Blind
3. Daddy
4. Alive (Never Run)
