I'm seeing Slipknot tonight. I saw them yesterday at the Soundwave festival, they certainly put on a good show.
Limp Bizkit was great yesterday, I'm not much of a fan for their music but they basically turned their show into a tribute for a girl who died at their last concert in Sydney 11 years ago at a festival called the Big Day Out. The girl's name was Jessica Michalik, she was only 16 and she was crushed to death by the crowd during the Limp Bizkit set. It was massive news here and in many ways marked a big downturn in their popularity here and worldwide. Well yesterday they had the deceased girl's dad there and they talked about it a lot (blamed the promoters and the police) and Fred handled it really well. I've never really respected Fred Durst before.
