Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is Optional
Protect yourself, only surround yourself with those who make you happy, the first warning sign you see, put them on the outside of your inner circle so that the pattern can't be repeated. Everyone gets hurt, but no one deserves to suffer.

what we don't realize is we give another the power to our feelings. We hand them the "weapon" to beat us down over and over again. No one controls me but me! People can't be trusted and certainly are not worth suffering over.
