LOS ANGELES, CA (August 2, 2011) Hedonism, debauchery, excess – Las Vegas and rock and roll are infamous for all three. Now, the inaugural 48 Hours Festival powered by Rockstar Energy Drink will give music fans the opportunity to indulge like never before.
The world’s biggest rock ‘n’ roll party weekend, live from the Las Vegas strip, 48 Hours Festival powered by Rockstar Energy Drink is the premier 2-day over-the-top destination rock music festival. Taking place Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 on the Luxor Festival Grounds, it will feature two stages of pure rock and a royal flush of festivities spanning the entire weekend.
48 Hours Festival powered by Rockstar Energy Drink will include live sets by Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, Hollywood Undead, Sick Puppies, Escape The Fate, Sevendust, Hatebreed, Adelitas Way, Rev Theory, 10 Years, Black Tide, Art of Dying, Eyes, Set to Kill, Butcher Babies, Valora, Hell or Highwater, Orange Blossom Special and many more.
The countdown to 48 Hours Festival begins on Friday night with a kick off party at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. After a day of the hottest rock in the desert at the 48 Hours Festival, concertgoers can keep on raging at the official after party at House of Blues or follow the parade of limos to the after-after party at Olympic Gardens.
Tickets for 48 Hours Festival powered by Rockstar Energy Drink go on sale Saturday, August 6 at 10 AM PST and can be purchased at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com and via Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone (800-745-3000).
Two-day weekend ticket packages start at just $99. Fans will also have the chance to purchase and win exclusive VIP packages that offer experiences that could only be had at the 48 Hours Festival like: The Godfather – All Access” which will allow fans to watch the show from the stage and backstage bar access, “All Excess - Cabanas” featuring full service cabanas with premium elevated sight lines and “Debauchery VIP ” with a VIP only tent and private bar. Once in a lifetime VIP concert experience packages will also be offered online. In addition, those in attendance will have a chance to be upgraded to VIP status as random winners will be announced on stage during the show.
Along with performances from the hardest rocking bands, 48 Hours Festival powered by Rockstar Energy Drink will also provide a one-of-a-kind social experience where pleasure seekers can get a taste of the seven deadly sins all weekend! The Rockstar Metal Militia will be throwing down their big air freestyle motocross chaos with multiple daily jump shows.
