VIP Packages
Good morning,
A couple of months ago, I bought a VIP package from this site to meet JD and the band in March when they return to Scotland. The package collection details said that the ticket was 'Will Call' which meant that I have to pick up the ticket from the venue on the day of the concert.
Well, I got in touch with the venue last week, to ask if I could pick up the ticket the day before. The guy didn't really know what I was talking about. He said he was going to get in touch with the promoter for me, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.
Basically, I'm just after some peace of mind. Has anyone bought one of these VIP packages before? Are they genuine? If I have just been scammed £250, I'd rather know sooner rather than later so that I can dispute it.

Re: VIP Packages
If the Europe VIP packages are the same as they were for the first leg in the U.S., you will get an email a couple of days before the show telling you where and when to meet to pick up your VIP laminate. We were told to get there at a specific time before doors opened and were to meet Sebastien in front of the box office. He came out and gave us our passes and a piece of paper that told us when and where to meet for the meet and greet. So, the venue probably won't have anything to do with the VIP packages. I hope this helps.

Re: VIP Packages
For the 2nd leg, VIP passes don't include a ticket, you have to buy a ticket as well as the VIP package. Don't know if it was the same for the 1st leg or in Europe, but that's what I know about it. Venue's can be pretty fucking clueless sometimes. I remember going to Mayhem Fest in 2009, I won a free lawn ticket for filling out a survey, and NO ONE who worked there knew where I was suppose to go. The normal box official told me to go to the VIP line, the VIP line told me to go some other place, I had to walk around for a while, being told by staff to go to one place which ended up being the wrong place. I finally got to the right place to get my ticket, would have saved a lot of time if anyone working there knew what they were talking about.

Re: VIP Packages
Tickets are not included in VIP packages at any of the shows...you have to purchase the ticket separately. When it gets close to the show date you will get emailed instructions on where to meet Sebastien for your VIP pass and itinerary. Typically you will meet him at the Box Office. But do what your email tells you to do if you buy a VIP package.

Re: VIP Packages
Brilliant, thanks for the advice guys. Just out of interest, can any of you remember roughly what time of day you had to meet at the venue? I will be going to another one of their shows the night before and it's about a 4-5 hour journey by train to get to Glasgow for the next show.
Yeah, I read that the VIP doesnt come with a ticket, which is slightly odd, so I bought one of those too. Thanks again for the help

Normally it's like a half-hour/hour after the opening of the doors of the venue, that you should me Sebastien @ the merch booth, ... .
It depends on which VIP-package you bought, meet and greet is mostly then, I heard that the gaming session with JD is after the gig, although it also can change!
All meet and greets are done after the venuedoors are already opened, not when the venue is still closed! -
RE: VIP Packages
So do they let you in before regular ticket holders, and while you are are at the meet and greet are they letting everyone else in. Was Jd at your meet and greet.

RE: VIP Packages
If you purchase the vip pass for just the meet and greet thing for the cheapest pasckage do you get to take a photo with the band?

Re: VIP Packages
^depends on the member and if they feel like it, it's not a gaurantee, good luck.
