    Korn - 10/10
I really like all of the songs on the album. So, 10/10, 'nuff said.
    Life is Peachy - 9/10
This one has a few tracks even stronger than their first album's (Porno Creep -> Good God, OMIGOSH AWESOME), but also has a couple of tracks I don't dig. (K@#0%! and Kill You ... especially K@#0%!, that song is retarded)
    Follow the Leader - 8/10
This one is such a mixed bag. Songs like It's On!, Freak on a Leash, and Dead Bodies Everywhere are some of the best Korn songs ever. Got the Life, B.B.K., Seed, and Pretty are all awesome too. But then there's some songs on Follow the Leader that completely annoy me, like Children of the Korn and Cameltosis. So 8/10.
    Issues - 10/10
Artful, different, but still totally Korn; and some of their catchiest tracks yet. Some of the short tracks are kind of boring in my eyes, but that hardly ruins the album in the slightest. I think the only overrated song is Somebody Someone. Still a decent song, but yeah.
    Untouchables - 6/10
I never quite understood all the fuss about this one. A lot of people consider this their best work. It just doesn't catch me. *Shrugs* For instance, I find Thoughtless to be pretty annoying when a lot of people love that song. Stuff like Here To Stay, Blame, Hollow Life, and Alone I Break is totally awesome though.
Take a Look in the Mirror - 7/10
Excellent when I'm in the mood for some heavy stuff. Their heaviest work, also very simplistic sans Head's instrumentation. The album suffers from a lot of the tracks sounding pretty similar. Also, stuff like Break Some Off and Right Now is just too explicit for my taste. But overall, pretty good album. If they made more albums like this I'd be disappointed, but as it is only one album I feel it has its place.
See You On the Other Side - 9/10
I see this one as something like Issues without Head. A solid piece of work, which is surprising after suddenly missing such an important piece of the band. Like Issues it is experimental, and some of Korn's catchiest stuff yet. Coming Undone is overrated, but what's not to like? Twisted Transistor is just awesome, especially the intro. I was devastated to learn that some versions of the album don't contain that intro, seriously. Knowing how many people miss out on that is ... unacceptable in my eyes. Open Up is moody and still has that kickass Korn sound, with JD sounding excellent in his singing. There were a lot of songs like that. Who can forget Tearjerker? I would probably give SYOTOS 10/10 if it weren't for the fact that it loses some of its glory near the end of the album.
    Untitled - 2/10
This is the album where JD drops all of his political, social, religious commentary on its listeners. On one hand this is refreshing because he got it all out of his system so he doesn't have to taint other albums with his opinions, on another hand it quite simply makes this album painful ... and this is coming from someone who has almost identical political views to JD. His religious commentary pisses me off though.
And that's not even considering the music itself. I feel like this album is proof of the importance of a real drummer in the band. Hired musicians just don't cut it. The drumming is absolutely atrocious ... I honestly feel like JD's drumming is much better than that moron Terry Bozio's, who feels the need to show off his ridiculous drum kit even if it means not matching the song's feel in the slightest. JD kept it simple and to the point, which is how most bands' drummers operate, so his work was passable.
Then of course we still have the absence of Head. Where Munky stepped up his A-game for SYOTOS, he seemed to put a lot less heart and soul into this album.
Furthermore, most of the songs are just sort of there. The album completely lacks Korn's catchiness. They sound lifeless. The only catchy songs in my eyes are Intro, Evolution, Hold On, Kiss, Love and Luxury. Kiss is a solid track. Hold On was decent but it feels wrong without Head and especially David in this case because the drumming is once again, freakin' annoying. Evolution has good vocals, other than that, yawn. Ditto Love and Luxury, plus it has annoying religious commentary. Intro is awesome, but leads into a pretty boring song.
So quite simply, I feel like this album was Korn's middle age slump. After all their damn hard work, I'm not offended, I feel like they earned it. It's truly a pathetic excuse album though. JD's work is the only passionate contribution to the album. Okay, some of the sample work is pretty interesting too. The guitar, bass, and especially drums all sound very soulless and uninspired. It sounds the least Korn-y out of all their albums, it's boring, and isn't even remotely catchy. 2/10, you get a 2 for Kiss.
Korn III: Remember Who You Are - 10/10
This album is real surprising. After that piece of crap Untitled, Korn III comes back blistering and deadly starting with Oildale. Holy crap, that track gets you pumped, like "oh snap, this album is gonna be awesome isn't it?" and it is indeed! It accomplished exactly what it set out to do; to have the oldschool Korn feel + maturity of the band members. I am very glad they did this one, it's good old heavy, catchy, groovy Korn with a few more years under their belt. There isn't a single track on this album I don't enjoy, except Uber-Time but I don't feel like that counts.
The Path of Totality - 8/10
Probably would've given this a higher rating, but a lot of the tracks lose their shine and feel like filler tracks after a few listens, for me anyway. Initially I enjoyed just about every track, but soon I found that the only ones that truly stuck with me were Chaos Lives in Everything, Kill Mercy Within (best song on the album), Narcissistic Cannibal, Let's Go!, Get Up!, and Bleeding Out. Which is still half the album, which is pretty darn good, thus the 8/10 rating. Tension's scat is my favorite Korn scat.
