Re: Favorite 80/70s Bands
The first music video I ever saw was I Ran by Flock of Seagalls. I continue to love that song and a few others by them. Also love David Bowie, Christian Death, Bauhaus, Simple Minds, Cindy Lauper, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Phil Collins and those punker bands like sex pistols, and other shit, when in my punk phase

Re: Favorite 80/70s Bands
Favorites of the 70's and 80's...I could spend all day on this.
I've been told the first song on the radio I sang along to was by The Carpenters LOL "Top Of The World" or something...and by the time I was 5 I had my own radio. I would just change the dial back and forth til I heard something I liked. Stevie Wonder, Hall & Oates, Men At Work, Eurythmics, Alan Parsons Project, Toto, Asia....PRINCE....too many to name. I actually didn't get into 70's until I was a senior and after graduation. Even though I loved Pantera and White Zombie I listened to a lot of classic rock radio. Favorites were Santana, Steely Dan, The Doors, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Black Sabbath...
eh, like I said...TOO many to mention. -
Re: Favorite 80/70s Bands
duran duran, depeche mode, ozzy, the cure, metallica, zeppelin, motley crue, joy division, bauhaus, the doors, skinny puppy, blondie, christian death, pantera.... the 70s/80s era was amazing because it was all about dr feel good and whip it. nothing seemed so critical until the late 90s. korn was great, ratm was sweet, limp bizkit was pretty good. but there was still all that mainstream alternative shit that ruined most of it. rocks been dying slowly and slowly over the years, but korn still keeps the blood pumping
