International Bands

I think this is a good idea for a music topic! Name a band that is pretty much strictly in your country! (or more then one) It COULD be lets say: a band started in Canada thats known in the USA but not anywhere else... you get? Heres the ones I know:
Billy Talent (Canadian)
Nickelback (Canadian)
Free Tacos (Canadian but strictly Albertan)
Rural Alberta Advantage (Canadian)
Michael Bernard Fitzgerald OR MBF (Canadian)
Sataniques Navire (Canadien)
jeux de miroirs (Canadien)
Samatha et les Mangemorts (Canadien)
Jouez jusqu'à (Canadien)
Dieux des anges déchus (Canadien)
Oublié et mal aimés (Canadien)

PartyOf17 OR Stranka od sedamnaest (Croatian)

    Im Croatian and I love Nickelback (imo they are popular in Europe) but I've never heard for Partyof17 :)

    My pick would be:

    Siddhartha (Slovenia)

    If you can you should look up Partyof17! Theyre kinda like Korn with their sound and lyrics, but at the same time theyre just CRAZY! :P

    Maybe for the USA kids like myself, we can post bands that formed in the city we were born in/live in? Might get you some more activity, and technically it's international to some people. :-)

    Notable Armenian Bands:

    System of a Down (very local, underground outfit )
    Empyray (broke out in mid-2000s, more hard rock than anything else)
    Deti Picasso (or 'The Children of Picasso', prog-rock)

    Local norwegian hardcore band Torch Torch

    I used to play in this band ages ago btw :)

    They're a Dutch band that sadly broke up and stuff. But I thought they were awesome!
    I love their album 'Identity'.

    This bans is an hiphop band french :

    NTM - Seine saint denis style

    Korn, back in 96', during the makin of LIP, wanted to make a featuring with us... But NTM refused caus' they were thinking that KoRn was too "metallic" for us... ^^ Enjoy

    PS : NTM (Nique Ta Mére) in french means : Motherfucker :)

    I would like to recommend the following two bands, both from Sweden. I don't know if anyone have heard of them, or if they're even known in other countrys since the vocalist (same in both bands) sings in swedish, but it's good listening nontheless!
