I can see where they are coming from.
Listening to angry music when angry can act as a vent for the rage and calm you down.

I wouldn't say I have any particular band to cool off to, but I guess I do tend to throw on Paper Tigers by Thrice or Sunshine the Werewolf by The Dillinger Escape Plan if I want some angry music. I like songs with a good rage / calm balance.

But on occasion I do like calm music to kill the anger. In this case I will listen to Auktyon ~ Padal or Dir en Grey Zakuro

The linked video of Zakuro is especially awesome and was filmed back when they were still worth listening to. The Macabre Album is still one of the best albums I have, but their more recent stuff is utter shit and not worth even pirating. It all went wrong for them when the idiots went on tour with KoRn and then tried to copy KoRn's sound. Nobody told them that Nu Metal died a decade ago. You guys would probably like their new sound as it's equally as bad as what KoRn is releasing nowadays.
