Other Bands

Aright, bands besides KoRn belong here, so what some other bands or just music in general are you all into?

I'm pretty diverse and listen to almost anything, and I'm actually very into modern composers and original scores from movies, shit like that. Some other bands I like besides KoRn would include Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Mumford & Sons, and Zeromancer. The list goes on and on.

or like the oak grove, that in its greatness
needs water but does not plea
May it bite and clamor vengeful,
rolling in the dust, your head!

its quite funny and equally mind-boggling how some folk manage to put the lasting majesty that embodies Trent Reznor and Pink Floyd in the same sentence as fatigue laden unrelevantness that breathes the likes of Static X and Otep. Dope. Seriously?

not to be an asshole or anything. or well maybe to. :D

I see those discrepancies in taste as something completely normal. To take the metaphor further, sometimes you crave caviar and champagne, while other times you just want a Coke and cheezeballs.

    True that!

Different music suits differing moods ..
Like if you wanna chill and think about things in an endless sense then Floyd will help out with that armchair philosophizing .. But if you're Grrrr inside and feel like tearing shit up Static will do the job

I agree Xusi! Different moods...different music! Depends on the temporal state a person is in at the time. As life progresses and we reflect on the past our tastes change. In 10 years we may all be into a different genre of music...ya never know!

If you don't listen to the words you're only hearing half the music!
